Taipei Story House (台北故事館), old name Yuanshan Mansion (圓山別莊), is a historic house in the Zhongshan District of Taipei, Taiwan, now open as a museum.
The house was built in 1913–14 by Chen Chao-chun, a Dadaocheng tea merchant. It was originally a guest house for rich merchants and other important local people.
The ground floor is built of brick and the upper floors of wood with English Tudor-style beams. The staircase is constructed to look like a pagoda. The entrance portico is in the classical style with Corinthian columns.
The Story House museum now has exhibits related to tea and local history. It is located immediately adjacent to the Taipei Fine Arts Museum and close to Yuanshan Station.

Cormorant fishing is a traditional fishing method in which fishermen use trained cormorants to fish in rivers. Historically, cormorant fishing has taken place in Japan and China from around 960 AD and recorded from other places throughout the world.
To control the birds, the fishermen tie a snare near the base of the
bird's throat. This prevents the birds from swallowing larger fish,
which are held in their throat, but the birds can swallow smaller fish.
When a cormorant has caught a fish in its throat, the fisherman brings
the bird back to the boat and has the bird spit the fish up. Though
cormorant fishing once was a successful industry, its primary use today
is to serve the tourism industry.
The types of cormorants used differ based on the location. In Gifu, Japan, the Japanese Cormorant (P. capillatus) is used; Chinese fishermen often employ Great Cormorants (P. carbo). Darters (Anhinga), which are very close relatives of cormorants, are also used for this fishing technique on occasion.

Europa stamps have been issued annually since 1956. First sets representing the founding 6 members of the ECSC, European Coal and Steel Community, then by the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) in 1959, (first stamps issued in 1960) and by PostEurop
since 1993. Initially in 1956 a total of 13 stamps were issued with a
common design from 6 different countries. A common theme of Peace and Welfare
through agriculture and industry was used for 1957. The common design
reappeared in 1958 and continued until 1973. From 1974 the designs
reflect a common theme. The common design idea replaced the common theme
in 1984, which was the CEPT 25th Anniversary (1959–84) and shows a
symbolic bridge, said to represent Liaison, Exchange and Communication.
With the split of posts and telecoms providers in most countries, CEPT
is no longer responsible, but the postal authorities under the guidance
of PostEurop
continue the Europa tradition. From 1993 all the stamps have "Europa"
inserted into the design in small print. For the new millennium in 2000,
the common design once more replaced the common theme. The stamp design
for 2000 clearly shows a column of 6 stars representing the original 6
members of the ECSC.
4 Children,(of different heritage) represent Europe's future and are
adding to the Vertical Star Column with the background depicting the
GREEN letter E meaning a fertile Europe. CEPT is from the French
acronym Conférence Européenne des administrations des Postes et des
Télécommunications.

石室圣心大教堂 - The Sacred Heart Cathedral

The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (耶穌聖心主教座堂) also known as Sacred Heart Cathedral (聖心堂) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Guangzhou (Canton), South China. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Guangzhou (Canton).
The cathedral is located at 56 Yide Lu (or Yat Tak Road), Guangzhou. It is on the north bank of the Pearl River and stands at the heart of the busy old town.

В России енота изначально знали по шкуркам, которые назывались
«генеттовыми мехами», потому что зверек с полосатым хвостом напоминает генетту. Позднее это название превратилось в «генот» или енот. Английское название raccoon, заимствованное и в некоторые другие языки, происходит из поухатанского языка —
одного из языков американских индейцев, где енота называли ärähkun, от
ärähkuněm, что означает «скребёт руками»; во многих европейских и
азиатских языках енота буквально называют «медведь-полоскун», «моющий
медведь». Латинское (греческого происхождения) название Procyon значит «пред-собака», «перед собакой»; так же называется звезда Процион в созвездии Малого Пса.
